Job Summary:
Clarivate is looking for an Associate Content Editor to join the Abstraction team (IP Operations) in Chennai. This is an excellent opportunity to work on Derwent products and enhance your expertise in patent analysis and abstraction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare abstracts for engineering patents following the DWPI Abstracting policy.
- Analyze patents in detail to create accurate, editorially enhanced technical summaries.
- Capture key technical insights from patent data, including descriptive titles, novel features, advantages, and uses.
- Use Clarivate-specific tools for content editing, abstraction, and curation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (EEE/ECE/CSE/IT) (Civil & Mechanical excluded).
- Freshers preferred (Candidates with up to 1 year of experience in content abstraction or editing can apply).
- Excellent English comprehension skills.
- Good knowledge of patents and drafting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in typing.
- Familiarity with patent documentation and research.
