Job Title: Senior Business Analyst (Advanced Analytics and Team Leadership) Job Description: As a Senior Business Analyst specializing in advanced analytics and team leadership, you will be responsible for driving data-driven insights and guiding a team of analysts to support decision-making processes within the organization. Your expertise in advanced Excel, data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau, as well as VBA programming, will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable intelligence. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring and training new team members to ensure continuous growth and development. Key Responsibilities: 1. Advanced Analytics: - Utilize advanced Excel functionalities, including pivot tables, macros, and data modeling techniques, to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights. - Develop complex formulas, calculations, and statistical models to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations in the data. - Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and revenue enhancement. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to monitor performance metrics. 2. Data Visualization: - Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to present analytical findings in a clear and compelling manner. - Create dynamic reports and executive summaries to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. - Customize dashboards to meet specific business requirements and user preferences, ensuring ease of interpretation and usability. - Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in data visualization and incorporate innovative techniques to enhance the effectiveness of dashboards. 3. VBA Programming: - Develop VBA macros and automation scripts to streamline data processing, report generation, and workflow automation. - Customize Excel functionalities and automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and productivity. - Troubleshoot and debug existing VBA code to resolve issues and optimize performance. - Provide guidance and support to team members in leveraging VBA for process automation and efficiency improvements. 4. Team Leadership and Training: - Lead a team of analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster professional growth and development. - Delegate tasks, set performance expectations, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs. - Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for skills enhancement. - Develop and deliver training programs to onboard new team members and enhance their technical skills and domain knowledge.
