Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting full lifecycle analysis, including gathering requirements, designing activities, and providing reporting and analysis capabilities. As a Data Analyst, you will monitor performance and quality control plans to identify areas of improvement. You will work closely with the management team to prioritize business needs and ensure data-driven decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Interpretation & Reporting: Analyze and interpret data using statistical techniques, preparing and providing regular reports.
- Database Development: Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and data analytics strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
- Data Acquisition & Management: Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain organized databases and data systems.
- Trend Analysis: Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Data Cleaning: Filter and clean data to correct issues and ensure accuracy by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators.
- Business Prioritization: Work closely with management to prioritize business needs and ensure the alignment of data initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Identify and define new opportunities for process improvement within the data management framework.
Requirements & Skills:
- Experience: Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst with expertise in data models, database design, and data mining techniques.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of reporting tools (e.g., Business Objects), databases (e.g., SQL), and programming languages (e.g., XML, JavaScript, ETL frameworks).
- Statistical Knowledge: Proficient in statistical analysis using packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS, or similar tools.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent ability to collect, organize, and analyze data, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reporting & Querying: Expertise in query writing, report generation, and presenting findings effectively.
