Job Overview
Position: Data Analyst
Location: Remote, Pune, Maharashtra, India
Experience: 5+ years in data analysis
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in Python, Power BI, data modeling, data mining, machine learning, SQL, big data technologies (Hadoop/Spark), data analysis (Python/R), and Tableau.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Proficiency in Python, Power BI, data modeling, data mining, and machine learning
- Strong SQL skills to manipulate and analyze complex datasets
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Knowledge of data analysis using Python or R
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions
- Design, develop, and maintain data models and databases
- Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau
- Utilize Python, R, and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Apply machine learning algorithms to perform predictive and prescriptive analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical solutions
- Identify data quality issues and implement data cleansing and validation techniques
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data analytics trends and tools
