Job Description:
NTT DATA is seeking a Salesforce Deployment Specialist - Digital Solution Consultant Sr. Consultant to join their team. The role involves working with Salesforce platform architecture, CI/CD design principles, and deployment orchestration to ensure successful releases and the continuous delivery of Salesforce metadata and configuration. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with various CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and others, and demonstrate deep knowledge of DevOps best practices within Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements, design, and implement DevOps architecture for Salesforce platform deployments.
- Deploy releases to various environments, including performing hotfixes and rollbacks.
- Write build scripts and create pipelines for end-to-end build and deployment orchestration.
- Review continuous delivery validation builds, resolving deployment issues in collaboration with Development and Configuration teams.
- Define and implement branching strategies to support parallel software development.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Deep knowledge of scratch orgs and proficient in implementing package-based deployments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS (preferred).
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & Salesforce Certified App Builder.
- 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce platform architecture, metadata, and configuration.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Copado, Flosum, etc.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD design principles and Agile development environments.
- Expertise in using Git for version control and moving development work between branches.
