Job Summary:
Dell Technologies' Data Protection Software Engineering (DPSE) team focuses on developing next-generation data protection solutions across On-Prem, Public Cloud, and Hybrid Cloud environments.
As a Software Engineer 1, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of advanced data availability technologies by collaborating with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the development of innovative client technologies and next-gen products.
Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable and high-performance systems and storage solutions.
Implement and test new features based on product requirements with a focus on serviceability and device-level reliability.
Review software specifications, write clean and efficient code, and collaborate closely with the engineering and QA teams.
Develop and apply test strategies for complex software products and ensure seamless system integration.
Essential Requirements:
0 to 2 years of experience in Full-Stack development or in enterprise-level C++/Java programming.
Strong understanding of application development lifecycles and business logic integration.
Excellent programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in system-level programming and a solid understanding of operating systems.
Desirable Requirements:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and managing code in a DevOps environment.
Familiarity with AI/ML, Generative AI, or prompt engineering concepts.
