Position Overview
Fusion is the first cloud-based 3D CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB platform, unifying design, engineering, electronics, and manufacturing. The Fusion Electronics team enhances these capabilities to support Mechatronics design workflows. Autodesk is seeking a Software QA Engineer for this team in Pune.
Responsibilities
Design and execute detailed manual test cases for new Fusion Electronics features.
Identify, document, and prioritize defects with clear and reproducible steps.
Create test designs and cases based on product design specifications.
Contribute to regression testing of complete workflows.
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot electronics design issues.
Communicate with stakeholders about test strategy, planning, status, and risks.
Work with engineers, product designers, and QA professionals across global teams.
Test interoperability and user experience of design tools.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical, or Automation engineering.
1+ years of experience in software testing.
Solid hands-on experience in PCB or electronics design.
Ability to adapt to changes and perform under pressure.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Strong passion for quality assurance and product improvement.
Understanding of QA methodologies and software development processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Fusion or other mechanical design software.
Familiarity with Eagle, Altium Designer, Cadence, or similar PCB design tools.
Knowledge of Allegro or library design tools.
Exposure to automation testing tools or frameworks.
Experience with PCB manufacturing and production.
