As a Software Research Engineer you will develop computational tools and AI/ML applications that improve patterning solutions, decrease process debug time, improve design efficiency, and bridge the gap between design and manufacturing. Your work will span solution exploration, technical design, implementation, deployment in a production environment, and maintenance of the deployed solutions. Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications listed below, to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school/work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must be pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or other relevant related degrees with a software focus. 1 year of experience in the following: Programming (C++/Python), data analysis, CAD tool development and Linux environmentPreferred Qualifications:Minimum 6 months of experience in two of the following:- implementing efficient data structures for software tool development- implementing efficient (runtime and memory) algorithms to solve CAD/AI problems- physical design- design rule modeling- data analysis methods including statistical methods- numerical algorithm design- computational geometry algorithms- database design for big data
