Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in AWS, React JS, SQL, Spring Boot, Java, JavaScript, and MySQL. The ideal candidate will bring 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, with proven exposure to the Asset & Wealth Management domain. This hybrid role requires excellent technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications using AWS, React JS, Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, SQL, and MySQL.
Design and implement new features and enhancements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ensure software systems are performant, scalable, and secure, especially in financial services environments.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers on engineering best practices.
Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and consistency.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across the software stack.
Work within Agile methodologies to manage development tasks, sprints, and project timelines.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs.
Maintain proper documentation for applications, processes, and development workflows.
Ensure adherence to industry and internal compliance, security, and data privacy standards.
Continuously explore and integrate emerging technologies to improve system design and efficiency.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including deployment and support.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in AWS, React JS, Spring Boot, Java, JavaScript, SQL, and MySQL.
Hands-on experience in the Asset & Wealth Management domain is required.
Solid understanding of software architecture, performance tuning, and secure coding principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
Effective verbal and written communication skills for both technical and business collaboration.
Proven experience working in Agile or Scrum-based environments.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Developer or Architect and Java Certification.
