Purpose of Role:
The ARC Analyst is responsible for resolving complex issues and delivering finance group reporting services to assigned entities. The role involves supporting the timely and accurate preparation of statutory accounts and tax analysis while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The analyst will drive exceptional customer service and operational excellence across various financial functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accurate recording of financial transactions, including ledger entries, journal postings, and fixed asset postings in accordance with relevant policies.
  • Collaborate with statutory tax teams and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate statutory accounts and tax analysis.
  • Supervise overdue items and ensure effective communication and follow-up to resolve them.
  • Ensure timely submission of data and provide constructive input on data validation.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures by preparing necessary documents and adjustments.
  • Collaborate with GBS internal teams to ensure accuracy in ledger data.
  • Liaise with senior partners both internally and externally as needed.

Key Challenges:

  • Familiarity with multiple systems across general accounting, reporting, and direct tax functions to maintain and reconcile accounts receivable.
  • Coordination across global teams in different time zones, using various systems to ensure smooth operations.
  • Building strong team connections to support balance sheet and P&L activities, while continuously improving processes, tools, and reports for better efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is preferable.
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in general and/or financial accounting.
  • Strong command of English, with the flexibility to work across various time zones and weekends as required by the business.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, accounting processes, and financial systems.
  • Analytical thinking and data analysis with the ability to interpret financial data and use visualization tools.
  • Solid experience in financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance.
  • Strong communication skills, influencing abilities, and customer-centric thinking.
  • Proficient in digital automation, tools, and financial systems for process improvement.
  • Agility in adopting new business processes, with a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.

Travel Requirement:
Minimal travel expected for this role.

Relocation Assistance:
