Role Overview
As a Sr. Consultant or Consultant, you'll manage specific sub-work streams or modules within broader projects. Reporting to a team lead or manager, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of your assigned sub-modules, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Development: Build and enhance Angular web applications, including components, directives, pipes, and services.
- Code Quality: Follow best practices to create maintainable, modular, reusable, and testable code.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure applications function effectively across different browsers and devices.
- Testing: Develop and execute unit tests using tools like Karma and Jasmine.
- Collaboration: Work with UI designers, UI developers, and backend developers to identify risks and resolve dependencies.
- Agile Methodology: Adhere to Agile processes, participate in ceremonies, and follow incremental delivery models.
- Mentorship: Guide and support the team in the absence of the lead.
Technical Experience
- Web Development: Expertise in web application development with a focus on component-driven architectures.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in ECMAScript, TypeScript, Angular, and MVC models.
- Module Development: Experience in creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
- Cross-Browser Issues: Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and Polyfills.
- Version Control: Experience with distributed code repositories like Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or TFS.
- Testing Tools: Familiarity with unit testing tools such as Karma and Jasmine.
- Responsive Design: Knowledge of responsive web development frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) and CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS).
- SDLC Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
