Role Description:

As part of the Chief Data Office, the Data Analyst will support the Head of Data Life Cycle in the development and implementation of DWS' Data Principles and Policy. The role will align with the data governance framework and procedures to ensure high quality and efficiency in data management. This position plays a crucial role in tracking and analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive strategic decision-making across the organization, ensuring compliance with data governance practices. Collaboration with data owners, stewards, and the management of data governance tools will be key to this role.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with data owners and stewards across departments to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Support the development and management of a framework for defining, measuring, and reporting on KPIs.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify critical KPIs aligned with business objectives and strategies.
  • Design and implement data collection processes and analytical tools to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Analyze KPI data and generate actionable insights to support business goals and improve operational efficiency.
  • Create and present regular reports and dashboards that communicate KPI performance to leadership.
  • Champion data governance best practices through training and awareness programs.
  • Regularly assess and refine data governance processes and policies to promote continuous improvement.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in data analytics or data management, with a strong understanding of KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense).
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership capabilities with the ability to build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey messages to diverse groups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Personal ownership of continuous learning and development.
  • Ability to promote a feedback-driven and learning-oriented environment.
