Job Summary
Dassault Systèmes is hiring a 3DEXCITE RelOps Engineer to manage build and release processes for next-gen 3D visualization enterprise applications. This is a high-impact role within the 3DEXCITE Software Application Development team that supports global product releases and drives continuous integration and automation practices in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and execute smooth, timely release processes for all 3DEXCITE enterprise applications.
Develop and maintain infrastructure for software development, including version control, branching, and CI/CD pipelines.
Define, enhance, and implement effective build and release processes across departments.
Manage build schedules and handle code branching strategies.
Integrate unit and system tests into the build pipeline.
Troubleshoot build environments, including servers and build failures caused by code or infrastructure issues.
Maintain and upgrade build machines and associated tools.
Create and maintain installers using InstallShield, NSIS, and Install4J.
Collaborate with product managers, quality heads, and globally distributed teams.
Research and apply latest technologies and trends to continuously improve release operations.
Maintain and enhance release dashboard tools using PHP, JavaScript, and HTML.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
6 to 7 years of experience in enterprise software build/release management.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools and environments, including:
Jenkins, JIRA, BitBucket, Git, JFrog ArtifactoryStrong scripting skills in Shell, Batch, or Python.
Experience setting up and upgrading build machine environments.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile setup.
Bonus Skills
Experience with Installers like InstallShield, NSIS, and Install4J.
Exposure to web technologies (PHP, JavaScript, HTML) for dashboard or portal customization.
Familiarity with troubleshooting both infrastructure and code-level build failures.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in high-pressure scenarios.
