Role & Responsibilities
Support the creation of outstanding 3D visualization applications as part of the 3DEXCITE Software Application Development team.
Ensure coordination of a smooth and on-time release process for all 3DEXCITE enterprise applications with participating departments.
Develop and maintain infrastructure for software development and build management (version control, branching, Continuous Integration, code analysis, specification, and documentation).
Define, enhance, and implement build and release processes.
Plan and control build schedule management and code branches.
Integrate unit and system tests into the build process.
Work closely with product management, head of development, and head of quality.
Research latest technologies and trends to create new and innovative ways to improve implementation processes.
Collaborate closely with a geographically distributed team.
Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Excellent communication skills and good team spirit.
Independent, responsible, and diligent work style.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
Adaptability and fast learning ability.
Hands-on experience in build/release management in large enterprise application development environments.
Experience with CI/CD tools and server upgrades including:
Scripting knowledge in Shell, Batch, Python.
Experience in setup/upgrade of build machine environments and troubleshooting build environments including servers and build failures (code).
Experience in Agile environment (added advantage).
Experience in creation/maintenance of installers using:
InstallShield
NSIS
Install4J
Experience with release dashboard management tools using PHP, JavaScript, HTML.
