Job Summary
IBM Consulting seeks an experienced AI Architect and Full Stack Engineer skilled in building intelligent systems and scalable full stack applications. You will integrate Generative AI into production systems, develop backend services, frontend components, and support ML pipelines while working closely with data scientists and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to implement AI-powered features using Large Language Models (LLMs) and retrieval-based architectures.
Develop and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot), Python (FastAPI), and Node.js.
Create and integrate APIs and microservices ensuring clean design and high availability.
Build and enhance frontend components using React and TypeScript, aligned with UX goals.
Contribute to ML pipeline development and deployment with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
Participate in Agile ceremonies: daily standups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Tekton.
Deploy and monitor applications on Kubernetes/OpenShift in AWS or GCP environments.
Write automated tests, conduct code reviews, and ensure code quality and performance.
Troubleshoot bugs, perform root cause analyses, and stabilize production systems.
Update architecture documentation and support onboarding of new features and tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in software engineering with AI/ML systems.
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience deploying ML models and integrating them with production systems.
Familiarity with LLMs, LangChain, Hugging Face, and OpenAI APIs.
Solid experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architecture.
Exposure to Kubernetes/OpenShift and DevOps pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
