Role Overview
Finastra is seeking a skilled Senior AI Engineer to join its Payment Services Strategy & Architecture team. You will be instrumental in designing and developing AI-driven solutions, working on cutting-edge LLMs, NLP, and machine learning technologies to solve complex challenges and enhance financial services globally.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in software design meetings to gather and analyze technical requirements.
Design and develop high-quality AI solutions that align with product goals.
Test, debug, and resolve issues in AI applications collaboratively with stakeholders.
Adhere to the full software development lifecycle process.
Support product releases and promptly resolve program issues.
Develop and integrate advanced NLP and transformer-based architectures.
Work on knowledge retrieval systems and implement RAG techniques.
Fine-tune private LLMs such as LLaMA, Gemma, etc.
Integrate LLMs with external data sources for smart contextual retrieval.
Collaborate across teams and contribute to additional AI and ML projects as needed.
Technical Requirements
Strong expertise in Python and machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Hugging Face).
Proficiency in transformer-based models and NLP (e.g., LSTM, BERT, GPT).
Experience fine-tuning private LLMs and implementing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms for model deployment and scaling.
Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle and software engineering principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in teams.
Preferred Skills
Financial industry experience is a plus.
Experience in developing scalable AI applications in production environments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Strong communication skills and customer-centric problem-solving mindset.
Capability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to dynamic environments.
