Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our Data Science & Analytics team. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset and be proficient in interpreting complex data sets. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into actionable insights, and working closely with stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize business and information needs.
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
• Filter and "clean" data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
• Proven working experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL, etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
