Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our Data Science & Analytics team. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset and be proficient in interpreting complex data sets. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into actionable insights, and working closely with stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Responsibilities:

Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize business and information needs.
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
Filter and "clean" data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
Proven working experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL, etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
