Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Compliance Analyst with expertise in ensuring adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls while supporting SAP and non-SAP support and maintenance programs. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting external SOX audits as a SOX assurance representative and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with SOX principles, performing internal reviews, and developing risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance Oversight:

  • Ensure compliance with SOX principles and practices within the portfolio, including basic IT General Controls (ITGC).
  • Guide and interact with the support team on SOX principles and practices.
  • Ensure that all deliverables by the support team are aligned with process documents and identify/report any non-compliance within the required timeframe.

• Testing and Remediation:

  • Test, execute, implement, and remediate ITGC controls in applications under the Compliance umbrella.
  • Review and monitor internal controls for SOX compliance.

• Documentation and Reporting:

  • Ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and well-documented.
  • Develop and file compliance reports with regulatory bodies.
  • Perform occasional internal reviews and identify compliance issues that require formal attention.

• Risk Management:

  • Develop risk management strategies to avoid non-compliance.
  • Review critical and sensitive authorizations and implement improvements to meet audit requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• In-depth Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and ITGC controls.
  • Intermediate knowledge of GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) and SAP Security.
  • Awareness of Segregation of Duties (SOD).

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and Application Life Cycle Management.

• Additional Skills:

  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in large, diverse teams.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience with reviewing and monitoring internal controls for SOX compliance.
