About the Role
Position Title: Analyst
Location: Hyderabad, India | #LI Hybrid
Role Overview
As an Analyst, you will provide analytics support to Novartis internal customers, including CPOs and regional marketing and sales teams, through various low to medium complexity analytical reports. Your role will facilitate data-driven decision-making by providing qualitative and quantitative insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence product team to deliver analytics and insights that drive clinical analytics for Novartis GCO teams worldwide.
- Create and deliver field excellence reports and insights in accordance with agreed SLAs (timeliness, accuracy, quality) while ensuring excellent customer service.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboard solutions using Databricks, Pyspark, SQL, and Python, optimizing field excellence activities based on commercial needs.
- Embrace a growth mindset and enhance skills by learning new data modeling tools in response to business needs.
- Employ a structured project management approach, ensuring proper documentation and communication throughout the reporting services delivery.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality checklists to ensure high-quality outputs.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in data visualization using Databricks, Pyspark, SQL, and Python.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to standardize processes through documentation and timely maintenance of knowledge repositories.
- Facilitate data-driven decision-making and execution for internal stakeholders, providing techno-functional expertise in sales operations and strategy.
- Actively contribute to team initiatives such as knowledge sharing, onboarding, and training support.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to deliver independently with minimal oversight, along with excellent presentation and communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or advanced degree in Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical Sciences, and an MBA is preferred.
- Prior knowledge and experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Learning agility and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
