Job Summary

Accenture is hiring for the role of Application Support Engineer in its Custom Software Engineering team based in Bengaluru. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience who are passionate about application troubleshooting, asset management, and cross-functional collaboration.

As an Application Support Engineer, you'll act as a software detective, identifying and resolving issues within critical business systems, ensuring high availability and seamless performance of key applications.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and maintain application health and performance.

  2. Troubleshoot and resolve software-related technical issues.

  3. Participate in problem-solving discussions with internal teams.

  4. Provide technical support to end-users and ensure issue resolution.

  5. Assist with application deployment and configuration.

  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for root cause analysis and long-term fixes.

  7. Document support processes, technical procedures, and user guides.

  8. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance support operations.

  9. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies for continuous improvement.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  1. Must-Have: Proficiency in Asset Management

  2. Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  3. Familiarity with incident management and troubleshooting methodologies

  4. Educational Qualification: Minimum 15 years of full-time education (Any Graduation)

  5. Experience: 0 to 2 years in application support or related roles

  6. Good communication and analytical thinking skills


Preferred (Good to Have) Skills

  1. Basic knowledge of SQL and database management concepts

  2. Exposure to ITIL framework and its application

  3. Scripting experience using Python, PowerShell, or similar tools
