Job Summary
Accenture is hiring for the position of Application Support Engineer in its Advanced Application Engineering team at Bengaluru. This entry-level role is ideal for graduates or junior professionals with up to 2 years of experience in Functional Test Planning. As part of a high-performing team, you’ll resolve software issues, ensure application performance, and contribute to testing processes that support business-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues across applications.
Assist the team by building domain knowledge and sharing learnings.
Participate in problem-solving discussions with cross-functional stakeholders.
Conduct root cause analysis for repeated or critical issues.
Provide timely application support to ensure seamless operations.
Implement required software patches, enhancements, and updates.
Document steps taken in troubleshooting and create user-friendly guides.
Support testing efforts including test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Skill: Proficiency in Functional Test Planning
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies
Ability to design and execute test cases
Familiarity with bug/defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication
Education: Any Graduation (Minimum 15 years of full-time education)
Experience: 0–2 years (Freshers with certifications in QA/Testing welcome)
Preferred (Good to Have) Skills
Exposure to test automation tools (like Selenium, UFT, or TestNG)
Knowledge of basic scripting or SQL
Awareness of Agile, Scrum, or DevOps environments
