Job Summary
Accenture is seeking a detail-oriented Application Support Engineer to join its Advanced Application Engineering team in Bengaluru. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a background in Functional Test Planning, eager to gain hands-on experience in supporting and optimizing enterprise applications. You will help identify and resolve software issues, ensuring operational excellence for critical business systems.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to maintain application stability.
Participate in problem-solving discussions and support incident management.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring system issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve problems.
Document technical solutions and troubleshooting steps clearly.
Apply patches, updates, and system enhancements as needed.
Assist in functional testing, QA tasks, and test case execution.
Continuously build technical knowledge and contribute to team learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Skill: Functional Test Planning.
Understanding of software testing methodologies and QA principles.
Experience designing and executing test cases.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
Educational Requirement: 15 years of full-time education.
Experience Level: 0–2 years.
Good to Have Skills
Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
Exposure to SAP Functional Testing – SD, APO modules.
