Job Summary
Accenture is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Application Support Engineer to join its Advanced Application Engineering team in Bengaluru. This is an ideal role for recent graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience looking to begin their career in software support, troubleshooting, and quality assurance. The selected candidate will work on critical business systems, applying test planning skills and collaborating with various stakeholders to resolve issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within multiple business-critical software components.
Participate in problem-solving sessions and internal team discussions.
Provide timely support for software-related issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical problems.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
Implement necessary software patches and upgrades.
Maintain documentation of troubleshooting steps and technical resolutions.
Assist in functional and system testing as part of the QA process.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Must-have: Strong proficiency in Functional Test Planning.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience with test case creation and execution.
