We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator with a strong focus on Oracle SQL to join our team. This role involves managing and maintaining a custom-built application, optimizing SQL queries, and resolving technical issues. The ideal candidate will have expertise in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
Database Queries and Manipulation: Develop and execute SQL queries to extract information from multiple tables, as well as insert, update, and delete records across one or more tables.
SQL Query Optimization: Analyze and optimize SQL queries to enhance database performance and reduce execution time. Identify bottlenecks, implement indexing strategies, and rewrite queries to improve efficiency.
Ticket Resolution: Address and resolve technical issues and service requests from end-users or system monitoring tools. Solve problems promptly and clearly communicate issues and solutions.
System Monitoring and Maintenance: Implement and utilize monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential system issues. Regularly monitor system performance, capabilities, and make necessary adjustments.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. Generate and review reports on system performance, incidents, and resolutions to ensure transparency and support knowledge sharing.
Collaboration and Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, network administrators, and security specialists, to ensure smooth system operations and resolve complex issues. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders.
