Job Summary:
Cognizant is looking for an experienced ArcGIS/ArcFM Developer who brings a strong mix of GIS expertise, full-stack development using .NET and Angular/React, and advanced scripting with Python. The ideal candidate should have experience in ArcFM customization, enterprise-level application development, and support projects with SLA-based commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of ArcGIS/ArcFM applications and modules.
Customize ArcFM functionalities to meet enterprise requirements.
Develop ArcGIS web and ArcFM web applications using Angular or React JS.
Work on .NET and Python-based backend components.
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze, plan, and upgrade ArcGIS/ArcFM enterprise environments.
Manage and support SQL Server and Oracle database integrations with GIS systems.
Lead support and bug-fixing efforts while maintaining SLA compliance.
Provide team guidance, mentoring, and technical leadership on GIS projects.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demos.
Stay updated with GIS innovations and propose enhancements for existing systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in ArcGIS and ArcFM solutions.
Expertise in ArcFM customization and enterprise GIS implementations.
Strong knowledge of Angular or React JS for frontend GIS applications.
Proficient in .NET development (C# preferred) and Python scripting.
Practical experience in working with Geoserver or other map services.
Solid understanding of ArcGIS upgrade processes and platform migrations.
Experience in SQL Server and Oracle database integration with spatial data.
Proven ability in leading support teams, handling production issues, and ensuring uptime.
Familiar with SLA-driven support environments and ticketing systems.
Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
