Job Summary:
The AWS Architect will lead large-scale data engineering and analytics projects involving modern cloud and data warehouse technologies.
The role requires both hands-on and strategic involvement in architecture roadmap definition, solution design, stakeholder interaction, and project execution.
The ideal candidate should be technically strong, business-savvy, and capable of conveying complex technical ideas to diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Define, design, and implement architecture roadmaps for data engineering and analytics projects.
Understand customer requirements and convert them into scalable and maintainable data solutions.
Present architectural solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Lead and mentor development teams to execute project goals with technical guidance.
Contribute individually to solution design, proof of concepts (PoCs), and coordination activities.
Work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment of architecture with business objectives.
Implement best practices in data warehouse design, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
Manage large datasets and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
Support integration with various BI tools and develop analytics use cases.
Ensure architecture compliance with internal standards and security policies.
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong expertise in data analysis, data engineering, and data warehouse design.
Proficient in SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory.
Demonstrated ability to define and implement architecture roadmaps.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience handling large data engineering and analytics projects.
Ability to work across teams and lead project execution end-to-end.
Good understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS.
Experience in presenting and solutioning for technical and business stakeholders.
Ability to create solution blueprints and technical documentation.
Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI, and ETL tools such as SSIS, Pentaho.
Secondary skills in MySQL, SSIS, Pentaho are preferred.
