Job Description:

We are looking for an Assistant Manager in the Business Development & Sales department. This individual will play a critical role in expanding our clientele and ensuring sustainable business growth. As the face of the company, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, building relationships with clients, and contributing to the continuous enhancement of our products and services.

The ideal candidate should possess strong sales skills, adaptability, and the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including clients and internal teams, to ensure the successful execution of business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Knowledge & Sales Strategy:

    • Deliver in-depth product knowledge and highlight benefits to stakeholders, fostering continuous product usage and sales acceleration.
    • Build and maintain strong business relationships with all clients, ensuring sustained engagement and satisfaction.
    • Promote the use of the product and its enhancements to drive higher sales volume.
  2. Client Relationship & Networking:

    • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key decision-makers in the trade and business associations.
    • Engage with top management and middle management to establish trust and loyalty.
  3. Product Development & Planning:

    • Gather and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders to plan and execute the product lifecycle.
    • Identify and generate new product ideas and improvements to enhance existing products.
    • Act as a bridge between technical teams and clients to align product development with market needs.
  4. Analytics & Performance Tracking:

    • Use analytics, data management capabilities, and metrics to track the performance of products and identify areas for improvement.
    • Provide regular reports on product performance and sales trends.
  5. Client Feedback & User Experience:

    • Collect qualitative information (feedback from clients, research reports, market trends) and utilize it to improve the product and customer service.
    • Be the voice of the user, ensuring that customer feedback is reflected in product decisions.
  6. Project & Implementation Management:

    • Manage product planning and execution from start to finish, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
    • Maintain the project/implementation plan, ensuring alignment with business goals and deadlines.
  7. Product Demonstrations & Presentations:

    • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for clients, showcasing new modules and features.
    • Initiate new modules and expand existing ones, especially within different locations of the business.
  8. Revenue & Customer Satisfaction:

    • Ensure that revenue and customer satisfaction targets are met or exceeded.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and enhance the client experience.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate / MBA (preferably with a focus on Business Development or Sales).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in business development and sales, preferably in logistics or a related field.
  • Language Proficiency: English, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil (any combination).
