Job Description:
This position will be responsible for maintaining product information within Eaton’s Product Data Hub, ensuring high product data quality, consistency, and completeness for over 6 million products globally. The role focuses on cleansing and maintaining product attributes across the Electrical group.
Key Responsibilities:
Write and edit a large volume of product information, including product descriptions, attributes, and unstructured content.
Identify inconsistencies in product information and work through enterprise governance processes for standardization.
Provide tactical assistance to Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM) in enterprise/business systems and services.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and health requirements for global product data.
Collect, organize, create, document, and enter detailed attribute information.
Work with Product Data Hub (PDH) tools to build a centralized product database for Electrical Product lines.
Apply knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management, product development, and management processes.
Collaborate with the technical team for system improvements and test integration mappings between different applications and PDH.
Source product attributes and specifications from different source systems (Product drawings, ERPs, etc.).
Present details of complex data quality or workflow issues for internal review.
Demonstrate a flexible attitude and willingness to learn new skills when required.
Qualifications:
Diploma/BE in Electronics, Electrical, or an equivalent degree.
1-3 years of relevant experience.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of Electrical Products and Components.
Expertise in Product Data Management.
Minimum 1 year of experience in Data Management and Analysis.
Advanced Excel proficiency is mandatory.
Experience with Power BI and SQL is preferred.
Knowledge of Stibo is an added advantage.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.
