Role Overview:

As an Associate Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing data-driven marketing models that directly influence strategic decision-making across marketing campaigns. The role requires expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data analysis to create actionable business insights that improve the targeting and delivery of products and services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Model Development: Design and implement statistical models for marketing campaigns, including response, risk, attrition, and volume predictive models.
  • Performance Monitoring: Manage model deployment, track performance, and create timely reports to ensure models perform as expected. Adjust models as needed to maintain quality.
  • Segmentation & Profiling: Develop customer and prospect segmentation using transactional, credit, demographic, and lifestyle data.
  • Advanced Data Techniques: Utilize statistical, AI/ML, and data mining tools to uncover actionable business opportunities, such as cross-selling, retention, and acquisition.
  • Collaboration: Work across internal teams to ensure the results of statistical analyses are implemented effectively, aligning with business strategies and objectives.
  • Process Automation & Monitoring: Identify opportunities for process automation and work to improve product delivery efficiency.
  • Industry Knowledge: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in data analytics, marketing attribution, media mix modeling, and market experimentation.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combined education and training.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in Python (required), Alteryx, and R.
    • Experience working with imbalanced datasets.
    • Familiarity with marketing attribution, media mix modeling, and in-market experimentation.
  • Communication: Must have conversational-level proficiency in English.
