Role Proficiency:
Possess a basic understanding of engineering principles in Electrical or Mechanical domains. Work as part of a team in all Electrical/Mechanical CAD activities under the guidance of a Lead.
Key Outcomes:
Electrical Design:
Develop 2D wire harness drawings as per customer requirements and industrial drafting standards.
Use 3D modeling modules for parts and assembly design.
Understand and analyze technical data sheets of devices and components.
Mechanical Design:
Design hydraulic routings using Pro-E Wildfire.
Design parts and weld fabrications.
Design welded structural components.
Contribute to electrical or mechanical integration during vehicle assembly.
Performance Measures:
Customer satisfaction based on feedback.
Adherence to project schedules and deadlines.
Compliance with SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
Number of defects identified after delivery.
Number of non-compliance issues.
Reduction percentage in repeated known defects.
Meeting defined project productivity standards.
Completion of all mandatory training requirements.
Expected Outputs:
Design Tasks:
Understand design requirements, sheet metal guidelines, and weldment techniques.
Error Handling:
Identify, analyze, and resolve drawing, model, and PLM/PDM errors.
Documentation:
Maintain input-output folders and audit documents properly.
Knowledge Management:
Maintain modeling procedures, checklists, QC documents, workflows, etc.
PLM & PDM Compliance:
Adhere to all PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and PDM (Product Data Management) processes.
Requirement Understanding:
Analyze inputs, client expectations, and project scope clearly.
Learning & Development:
Improve domain knowledge and soft skills through webinars and training sessions.
