Role Proficiency:
Execute test cases accurately to prevent incorrect product shipments by identifying and reporting business-critical bugs. This position works under supervision.
Key Responsibilities (Outcomes):
Complete assigned test grids precisely without deviating from the test steps.
Identify product failures and report them in the test repository and bug tracker.
Detect out-of-box product issues.
Continuously learn about the technology, business domain, and system domain independently and as guided by the project/account.
Execute ad-hoc test scenarios when required.
Log critical (P1/Showstopper) issues effectively.
Performance Measures:
Number of ad-hoc scenarios executed.
Accuracy and consistency in updating the test repository and bug database.
Number of P1/Showstopper issues reported.
Adherence to project schedule and timelines.
Compliance with applicable SLAs.
Number of defects found post-delivery.
Number of non-compliance issues identified.
Reduction in recurrence of known defects (as per SLA).
Turnaround time for resolving production bugs.
Completion of all mandatory training as per project guidelines.

Project Management: Deliver tasks with quality within the target timeframes.
Estimation: Accurately estimate the time, effort, and resource requirements for your tasks.
Documentation: Maintain documentation for your assigned tasks.
Status Reporting: Regularly report task progress and compliance with validation standards and processes.
Required Skills:
Understanding of computer hardware and component functionality.
Ability to create and execute ad-hoc test scenarios.
Proficiency in working with Windows OS installations and variations.
Familiarity with BIOS drivers and multiple display protocols.
Capability to execute tests and compare results against product specifications.
Accurate self-assessment of task effort and timeline.
Capability to conduct and validate tests in both customer and target environments.
Team collaboration and coordination.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Required Knowledge:
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Knowledge of various testing methodologies (e.g., functional, regression, performance, etc.).
