Role Overview:
Indegene is looking for an Associate Technical Project Manager – GenAI Architect & Program Lead to spearhead GenAI product development. This role combines deep architectural expertise with program leadership for GenAI initiatives, including LLMs, RAG pipelines, cloud AI integrations, and multimodal deployments. You will be the bridge between engineering, AI, business, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead architecture design for GenAI systems including LLMs, multimodal models, and RAG pipelines.
Evaluate and integrate GenAI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI.
Ensure security, performance, and scalability across AI infrastructure and APIs.
Collaborate with ML Engineers, DevOps, and software teams to productionize AI solutions.
Align GenAI development with enterprise architecture and compliance standards.
Select appropriate models (open-source/proprietary), tools, and frameworks.
Define GenAI program roadmaps, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Drive cross-functional teams (engineering, product, data, legal, etc.) across development life cycles.
Lead agile ceremonies, DevOps integration, and CI/CD practices.
Provide executive-level updates, progress reports, and dashboards.
Oversee vendor management and external tool integrations.
Technical Requirements:
7–12 years in technical project/program management, with 3–5 years in AI/ML systems.
At least 1–2 years' hands-on experience in Generative AI (LLMs, transformers, diffusion models).
Experience delivering enterprise-grade AI platforms/applications.
Knowledge of cloud-based AI services – Azure, AWS, GCP.
Familiarity with Python, ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), and lifecycle tools (LangChain, MLflow).
Understanding of microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines.
Agile/Scrum/SAFe certification or experience preferred.
Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS), RAG, and model fine-tuning.
Understanding of ethical AI, responsible design, and compliance frameworks.
Preferred Skills:
PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe certification.
GenAI/cloud certifications (e.g., Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS Certified ML).
Experience contributing to open-source or research publications.
Strong stakeholder communication and presentation skills.
