Role Overview
Join Finastra as an Automation QA Engineer, contributing to high-quality product delivery in a global fintech environment. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, automating test cases, and supporting the QA process for mission-critical applications across the financial sector.
Key Responsibilities
Create detailed test cases based on product specifications.
Execute test plans, document results, and report issues found.
Set up and manage personal and team test environments.
Participate in process improvement reviews to enhance product quality.
Track and report defects; collaborate with developers for resolution.
Review documentation to ensure technical accuracy and completeness.
Support stakeholders with pre-release software.
Use SQL scripts to set up test data and validate outputs.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for continuous testing.
Estimate testing efforts for product enhancements.
Technical Requirements
2–6 years of experience in software testing or related QA roles.
Knowledge of quality assurance practices and the software development lifecycle.
Hands-on experience with test planning, defect tracking, and result documentation.
Experience in using relational databases (SQL) for testing purposes.
Familiarity with automation testing tools and scripting.
Understanding of Agile development methodology is preferred.
Experience in the software or financial services industry is a plus.
Effective communication, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently or within a team.
