Job Summary
Dassault Systèmes is hiring a motivated BIOVIA User Success Engineer to provide world-class technical support to customers in the life sciences and laboratory informatics domains. You will work closely with R&D, customers, and internal teams to troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent technical issues across BIOVIA products.
Role & Responsibilities
Gain a thorough understanding of BIOVIA products to deliver accurate troubleshooting and technical guidance.
Own and resolve customer-reported issues with dedication and accountability.
Identify potential problems proactively and recommend preventive actions.
Submit and track software bugs or enhancements with the Development Team.
Validate the fixes provided by R&D and ensure successful implementation.
Implement specific functionality under guidance from R&D for key customer use cases.
Collaborate with customers and partners to resolve complex issues and ensure smooth deployment or production.
Deliver prompt and validated solutions tailored to customer scenarios.
Participate in customer meetings and calls to provide expert-level support and satisfaction.
Work closely with Customer Success Advocates to align on issue resolution priorities.
Collaborate across teams to ensure technical issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or higher degree in IT, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Life Sciences.
1–3+ years of experience in laboratory informatics or with BIOVIA products such as OneLab or QUMAS.
Required Technical Skills
Hands-on experience in BIOVIA software or relevant domains in the life sciences, chemistry, or biology.
Strong knowledge of SQL scripting and Oracle Database administration.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory.
Experience with web servers and SSL/TLS certificate management (Apache Tomcat or IIS).
Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, load balancers, and routers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed team.
Quick adaptability to new technologies and eagerness to learn.
