Job Summary
Dassault Systèmes is hiring a BIOVIA User Success Engineer to join its Customer Success Organization in Bangalore, India. In this client-facing technical support role, you will assist life sciences and laboratory domain customers using BIOVIA solutions. Key Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of BIOVIA product functionality to troubleshoot issues accurately.
Take complete ownership of customer-reported issues and resolve them with diligence and precision.
Anticipate potential customer challenges and provide preventive solutions.
Submit, track, and validate issues with the Development Team to ensure effective resolutions.
Implement specific product functionalities under R&D guidance based on customer demands.
Collaborate closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to support deployment and production.
Deliver timely answers and validate code fixes against customer scenarios.
Participate in on-demand customer calls to demonstrate technical knowledge and build trust.
Work with Development and Customer Success Advocates to identify root causes and prioritize resolution plans.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Life Sciences.
1–3 years of experience in laboratory informatics software, such as BIOVIA OneLab or QUMAS.
Strong knowledge of SQL scripting and Oracle database administration.
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
Familiarity with web server technologies (Apache Tomcat / Microsoft IIS) and SSL/TLS certificate setup.
Understanding of TCP/IP, network topologies, load balancers, and routers.
Preferred Skills
Domain expertise in the life science, chemistry, or biology laboratory environment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently and in a diverse team setup.
Quick adaptability to evolving technologies and software tools.
