About the Role:

The US Consumer Marketing Analytics & Investment Services team focuses on strategy and analytics to drive acquisition growth and deepen engagement with cardmembers. We deliver the most relevant content to the right consumers through their preferred channels, with a focus on profitability and value maximization. Our goal is to drive revenue growth and maximize the return on marketing investments, fostering innovation for both immediate and long-term transformation.

As a member of this team, you will use advanced analytics to enhance acquisition and customer marketing campaigns and targeting strategies. You'll collaborate with various departments, including Product, Marketing, Finance, and Risk, to develop and own a best-in-class framework for evaluating consumer profitability within the prospecting ecosystem. This foundational work will support the design of our targeting strategies and the achievement of our revenue efficiency goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and exceptional quantitative and problem-solving skills, with prior experience in analytics roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to understand acquisition and customer dynamics, deriving actionable insights to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop a deep understanding of consumer profitability (CMV) and the acquisition landscape.
  • Build a robust economic framework for consumers and create a unified profitability assessment metric.
  • Centralize and standardize Consumer Economics practices to maximize synergies across the broader acquisition team.
  • Evaluate the impact of different strategies/initiatives on the business and provide insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor behavioral performance of acquisitions and customer channels, identifying driving factors behind trends.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to plan and prioritize initiatives.
  • Continuously expand and strengthen knowledge of analytical methods and tools to enhance our analytical practices.
  • Handle standard marketing performance metrics such as ROI, Cost per Acquisition, and Efficiency Yield.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Wednesday: 1 PM to 9:30 PM
  • Thursday: 11 AM to 7:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM to 5 PM (slightly earlier)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics, or finance, complemented by a master's or other secondary professional qualification from top-tier institutions.
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant analytics experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick and critical decisions on high-visibility deliverables under tight timelines.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with a strong ability to drive results.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Hive, SQL, SAS, Python, and MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
