What You'll Do
We are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to create, maintain, report & manage data/information & metrics for the GoLive team. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to interface directly with GoLive leadership, contributing significantly to their day-to-day operations while also addressing requests that bolster the strategic initiatives of the GoLiveteam.
As a visible and integral member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of data and insights requests, while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and efficiency. This is an independent contributor role based in our Pune office with a hybrid work profile.
Presentation Preparation:
Create, edit and refine Periodic Business Reviews for GoLive leadership, ensuring alignment of data and content accuracy.
Collaborate with relevant teams to gather necessary information and insights for presentations.
Data Input and Management:
Understand the available data architecture for data available to GoLive and create dashboards that enable solving the GoLive problem statements
Format and cleanse data sets, adhering to established procedures and developing new processes as needed.
Document procedures clearly for easy understanding by other team members.
Ad-Hoc Requests and Organization:
Efficiently handle ad-hoc requests from various stakeholders, organizing data/insights requirements and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
What You'll Need to be Successful
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent.
3-4 years of experience supporting Sales, Channel/Partner, or Finance teams with critical data/insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, PowerBI, SQL
Intermediate knowledge and comfort with Salesforce, including understanding of main object hierarchy and common processes (development background not required).
Python/R for data management is a plus
Preferred experience with JIRA and Confluence, but not required.
About the Team
The PMO team within GoLive at Avalara is working on various initiatives to standardise processes and creating and maintaining mechanisms to provide leadership with enablers to run an effecient & effective team.
