Job description

As an Analyst specializing in VBA and Python development, you will closely work with the Tax Team at Clear and play a critical role in optimizing processes, automating tasks, and enhancing the overall efficiency of tax operations

Responsibilities:

VBA and Python Development:

Design, develop, test, and maintain VBA and Python scripts, macros, and applications to streamline and automate tax-related processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions that align with business needs

Process Automation:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the tax department
Transform manual tasks into automated workflows using VBA and Python, reducing errors and increasing productivity

Data Analysis:

Utilize your programming skills to perform data analysis on
tax-related datasets

Documentation:

Create comprehensive documentation for your code, scripts, and applications. This includes clear explanations of functionality, logic, and usage instructions to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance
Suggest and implement innovative ideas to continuously improve tax processes

Collaboration:

Collaborate with tax professionals, Product teams, and other
stakeholders to gather requirements, understand pain points, and propose technical solutions that enhance tax operations

Requirements: 0-2 years of relevant experience and proficiency in excel analysis, VBA, Python modeling
