Role Overview
This role resides within the Finance team, specifically focusing on regulatory reporting through the Axiom platform.
The Business Analyst will support the expansion and enhancement of Axiom to meet global regulatory obligations and internal business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Extend Axiom platform capabilities to include new geographies, financial products, and regulatory reporting needs.
Translate business goals into comprehensive business requirements and functional specifications.
Document the complete delivery lifecycle and develop scalable process playbooks.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by designing test cases and validating output.
Provide assistance to global regulatory reporting teams, particularly on European Banking Authority (EBA) frameworks such as COREP and FINREP.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders in finance, product, and engineering functions.
Perform gap analyses to identify root causes and risks, escalating issues where appropriate.
Required Qualifications
Strong practical experience with SQL for data analysis and validating reports.
Good understanding of financial products, including transaction and trade lifecycle knowledge, and applicable regulatory standards.
Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining business documentation and functional specifications.
Working knowledge of regulatory reporting, especially EBA frameworks such as COREP and FINREP.
Proven track record in UAT execution, including test planning, execution, and coordination with developers and business teams.
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills across geographically dispersed teams.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with the Axiom platform and its functionalities in regulatory reporting contexts.
Prior experience in supporting global finance systems within a fintech or regulated financial services institution.
