Job Summary:
The Test Lead will be responsible for overseeing manual and automation testing for web, mobile, and API applications.
The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in testing frameworks, scripting languages, and Agile methodologies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
This role demands leadership in test planning, execution, and process improvement, including the application of AI tools for testing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute end-to-end testing for web, mobile, and API platforms using both manual and automation approaches.
Design, develop, and maintain test cases, test plans, and automation scripts.
Utilize tools such as Jira, Git, Selenium, and CI/CD pipelines for test lifecycle management.
Participate in Agile/SCRUM teams, contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
Work with at least one scripting/programming language, preferably Python, for test automation and data manipulation.
Conduct peer reviews for test design and automation code.
Explore and implement AI-driven tools to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
Ensure defect tracking and risk management are handled effectively and aligned with project timelines.
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 8 years in professional software testing.
Strong experience with web, mobile, and API testing.
Proficient in test automation tools, especially Selenium.
Hands-on experience with test management and CI/CD tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, etc.
Solid foundation in Python or any other scripting language.
Familiarity with Agile development and SCRUM practices.
Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and concepts.
Experience with AI-based test automation tools is highly desirable.
