Job Summary
ZS is looking for a Cloud Administrator to join its dynamic Enterprise IT team in Pune, India. This role focuses on designing, deploying, and optimizing cloud-based data solutions, particularly using Apache Spark, Python, and SQL. You'll play a pivotal part in building secure, scalable, and compliant data infrastructure for a global consulting and technology firm impacting life sciences, healthcare, and beyond.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to understand technical and functional requirements.
Design and implement Spark-based solutions ensuring high performance, security, and compliance.
Optimize existing data pipelines to improve cost efficiency and operational performance.
Build, test, and validate prototypes and proof-of-concepts to solve business challenges.
Participate in architecture and implementation reviews to maintain quality and consistency with best practices.
Work in Agile environments to implement data quality checks, automate tasks, and resolve system vulnerabilities.
Govern architecture standards and oversee project implementation modules.
Assist testing teams in defining the optimal test strategy and participate in root cause analysis.
What You’ll Bring
2–3 years of experience in data engineering, cloud administration, or related roles.
Proven experience in ETL pipelines, data modeling, and integrating data from APIs and databases.
Strong command over Python and SQL for data engineering tasks.
Practical experience with PySpark APIs and SparkSQL for large-scale data processing.
Experience working in Linux environments and performing system-level tasks.
Analytical mindset with a history of leveraging data to influence business decisions.
