Senior AEM Architect
Job Responsibilities
Develop digital consumer experiences using Adobe Marketing Cloud (AEM 6.5+).
Define architecture for global content platforms using AEM, Search, Adobe Analytics, Target, Campaign, etc.
Deliver multi-site/multi-channel capabilities, personalization, multilingual content, automated workflows, and more.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex AEM implementation issues.
Interact with clients to define specs and architecture for content and collaboration solutions.
Guide senior developers on system design and implementation.
Define and enforce best practices, quality gates, and development standards.
Ensure performance, scalability, and security in digital platforms.
Lead Agile teams of 20+ across frontend, backend, QA, and PM.
Drive project planning, estimations, and cross-functional leadership.
Experience Guidelines
15+ years of total experience; 8+ years with AEM and Adobe Marketing Cloud.
Strong in AEM stack: Maven, OSGi, Apache Sling, Sightly, Oak, Dispatcher.
Experience with Solr, Lucene, GSA; evaluated and recommended MarTech solutions.
Solid Java background: Java SE 1.7/1.8, JSP, Servlets, JSTL, Tag Libraries.
Strong exposure to performance/security testing, OWASP, load modeling.
Integrated AEM with Salesforce, SSO, LDAP, API Gateways using REST/SOAP.
Familiarity with frontend tools: React, Angular, Backbone.js, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery.
Deep understanding of physical infrastructure: Load balancers, CDN, Apache, DR.
Experience optimizing for SEO, accessibility, observability, and security.
Implemented CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Bamboo), SonarQube, automation testing, and code review frameworks.
Senior AEM Developer
Job Responsibilities
Deep hands-on experience with AEM 6.5 and Adobe Marketing Cloud products.
Build AEM components, templates, workflows, and OSGi modules using JSP and HTL.
Created Maven archetypes; expertise in Java EE, Apache Sling, OSGi, Node, REST.
Design technical solutions based on business and stakeholder needs.
Create system flow diagrams and detailed technical design documents.
Follow and promote best practices in AEM development.
Maintain high standards for performance, availability, and scalability.
Champion code quality, reuse, coverage (JUnit), and extensibility.
Lead and mentor junior developers.
Implement and test Asset Management (DAM) and Java-based object models.
Experience Guidelines
3–6 years of experience in development; 3+ years with strong AEM expertise.
Delivered 4+ AEM projects including custom templates, components, and services.
AEM Developer
Job Responsibilities
Build new AEM components, templates, OSGi modules using JSP/HTL.
Implement DAM, Java object modeling, and unit testing.
Apply frontend frameworks (Adv JS, CSS), strong Java EE, Maven, OSGi, Node, and REST.
Experience Guidelines
2–3 years of total experience; 1+ years in AEM 6.5 development.
Delivered at least 2 AEM projects with hands-on custom component development.
