Job Summary

Cognizant is seeking a skilled Developer with 6 to 13 years of experience for a role focused on Python and AWS technologies, specifically with Amazon Redshift and Snowflake. This position is open in multiple locations: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, and Chennai.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Proficient in Python, Amazon Redshift, AWS IAM, Amazon S3, AWS DevOps, AWS Glue ETL, AWS CloudWatch, Amazon RDS, and MWAA (Airflow).
  • Familiarity with Amazon DynamoDB, Apache Spark, AWS Glue Catalog, AWS CloudFormation, Risk Management, AWS Glue Studio, Spark Optimization, and AWS Glue DataBrew is advantageous.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of scalable applications using Python and AWS services.
  • Design and implement data pipelines in Amazon Redshift to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Manage AWS IAM roles and policies for secure application access and data protection.
  • Utilize Amazon S3 for efficient data storage and AWS Glue ETL for data transformation tasks.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools.
  • Monitor application and infrastructure performance with AWS CloudWatch, ensuring high availability.
  • Develop and maintain database solutions in Amazon RDS, optimizing for performance and scalability.
  • Use MWAA (Airflow) for orchestrating complex workflows and data processing tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Stay updated on new AWS features and technologies, incorporating them into solutions as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with coding, testing, and deployment best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Python, Amazon Redshift, AWS IAM, Amazon S3, AWS DevOps, AWS Glue ETL, AWS CloudWatch, Amazon RDS, and MWAA (Airflow).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience in Asset Management Operations is preferred but not mandatory.
