Core Skills for a Back-End Developer
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a back-end developer or similar role with a strong understanding of end-to-end system implementation.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Node.js or Java, including frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Typescript Experience: Experience with TypeScript if working with Node.js.
- Web Frameworks: Proficiency in one or more Node.js web frameworks such as Express.js or Fastify.
- API Development: Experience in developing and integrating RESTful web services.
- Database Management: Skills in database design and management, familiar with NoSQL and RDBMS (preferably MongoDB and MySQL).
- Testing: Experience with implementing testing platforms and writing unit tests.
- PaaS Environments: Familiarity with Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments.
- Code Quality: Appreciation for clean, well-documented code.
- Agile Practices: Experience with Scrum or other Agile methodologies.
- User Experience: Understanding of user experience principles and possibly product strategy.
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git and experience using Jenkins for CI/CD automation.
Additional Skills:
- Scripting Languages: Experience with scripting languages such as Korn Shell or Perl in a Linux environment is a plus.
- Automation Tools: Experience with Bitrise or similar tools for enhanced workflow automation is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Consultant Level: 4-5 years of relevant experience.
- Educational Background: B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MBA/MS or equivalent.
