Job Description:

As a member of the Enterprise Information Protection team, you will play a critical role in ensuring security while enabling technology and business partners across the company.
The Cybersecurity Triage Analyst will be a key part of the 24x7 Threat Detection Operations Centre, helping to detect, protect, and respond to cyber security incidents. This role involves reviewing security events, enriching those events with relevant data, and either responding directly or escalating issues to the Cyber Security Incident Response Team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of major operating systems and networking concepts, coupled with a strong desire to continuously learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Monitoring: Monitor computer networks for potential security threats.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
- Security Measures Implementation: Install security solutions, including firewalls and encryption programs.
- Documentation & Assessment: Document security breaches and assess potential damages.
- Vulnerability Testing: Work with the security team to perform security tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
- Threat Mitigation: Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain high-security standards.
- IT Security Awareness: Stay updated on IT security trends and best practices.
- Penetration Testing: Perform penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
- Policy & Compliance: Develop company-wide best practices for IT security and ensure policy maintenance.
- Security Tool Administration: Work with SIEM, O365 security administration, Cylance, Sentinel One, Microsoft Defender.
- Network Protocols: Understand RDP, SSH, TCP, FTP, SFTP, ACLs, etc.
Skills You Will Learn:
