Role Overview:

Exusia is seeking an experienced Data Analyst & Data Modeler to work with our global clients across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia. This full-time role will involve delivering data-driven solutions by performing business and data analysis, data modeling, data mapping, and translating functional requirements into technical specifications. You will collaborate closely with Client Product Owners, Business SMEs, Exusia Solution Architects, and Senior Application Designers/Developers to drive successful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and own data analysis and data modeling activities.
• Discuss and document data and analytics requirements with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
• Analyze requirements and create technical specifications, source-to-target mapping, data models.
• Perform data profiling and cleaning for data analysis.
• Interpret data, analyze results, and prepare detailed data analysis reports.
• Conduct data validation and testing to ensure data quality.
• Collect, analyze, and share significant amounts of information with the project team and business stakeholders.
• Manage shifting priorities during the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst and Data Modeler.
• Master’s degree in Computer and Information Sciences, Business Information Technology, or Engineering.
• Proven experience working in an agile software delivery model.
• Strong background in data modeling, especially for Data Warehouses (DWH) and Data Marts.
• Ability to create logical and conceptual data models for business and functional users.
• Expertise in ER and dimensional modeling techniques such as Star, Snowflake, or Constellation.
• Hands-on experience implementing Star Schema and Relational (3NF) models.
• Experience implementing physical data models for various RDBMS and cloud-hosted databases.
• Strong knowledge of different types of facts and dimensions.
• Proficiency with data modeling tools like Erwin, ER Studio, and InfoSphere Data Architect (IDA).
• Solid SQL or Python skills for data analysis and profiling.
• Ability to transform business requirements into technical specifications and document data mapping and business logic.
• Experience with data validation and testing using SQL or tool-based methods.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Exposure to Scrum Master or Product Owner roles.
• Knowledge of data processing/ETL tools such as Ab Initio, SAS, SSIS, Python, Scala, Apache Spark, or Databricks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Exposure to Data Governance projects, including Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Data Quality, and Data Dictionary.
• Domain knowledge in Banking or Healthcare is a plus.
