Role Overview:
The Data Analyst, Insights at iCIMS is responsible for analyzing and modeling data to develop analytics that influence product development and customer strategy. Reporting to the Senior Director of Data Insights & Customer Intelligence, the Data Analyst will collaborate with product management teams, marketing, data engineers, and data scientists to identify trends and effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Trend Identification: Analyze data from various sources, including external labor market data and internal platform data, to uncover insights and trends.
- Data Visualization & Reporting: Produce and adapt data visualizations to meet business needs, and create dashboards and charts in Tableau for internal and external use.
- Problem-Solving & Investigation: Identify and investigate data quality issues, determine root causes, and recommend solutions to the data science and engineering teams.
- Collaboration with Business Teams: Work directly with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and communicate findings effectively.
- Data Mapping & Enrichment: Identify and document data mapping and enrichment requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate a sense of urgency and initiative, react to change appropriately, and seek continual professional development through feedback and training.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
- 2+ years of professional experience in data analytics.
- Strong skills in data analysis and data visualization.
- Experience with Tableau Desktop, creating charts, dashboards, and calculated fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (compiling, formatting, and cleansing data).
- Familiarity with SQL, particularly in performing various types of data joins.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- BA/BS in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or another quantitative discipline (or relevant coursework/interest in quantitative fields).
