Job Description: Data Analyst

A Data Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to help solve business problems and inform decision-making. This role involves a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including:

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Collection

   • Gather data from multiple sources such as databases, spreadsheets, and APIs.
   • Conduct surveys and track metrics like website visitors to collect relevant data.

2. Data Cleaning

   • Ensure data accuracy and completeness by cleaning and filtering data.
   • Handle missing or incomplete data to maintain quality datasets.

3. Data Analysis

   • Use statistical tools and techniques to analyze datasets and identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
   • Extract actionable insights that inform business decisions.

4. Data Visualization

   • Create charts, graphs, and dashboards to effectively communicate analysis results.
   • Present data in a visually compelling format for easy interpretation.

5. Reporting

   • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
   • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

6. Collaboration

   • Work closely with different departments to understand their data needs.
   • Help teams make informed, data-driven decisions by providing relevant insights.

7. Documentation

   • Document data analysis processes and methodologies for transparency and understanding.
   • Ensure that stakeholders are aware of how data is being analyzed and used.

9. Data System Maintenance

Qualifications

• A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience or skills in data analysis through alternative learning methods (e.g., specialized training in statistics, data science boot camps).
• Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical software (e.g., R, Python).
• Experience with SQL and Excel for data manipulation and querying.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills for presenting data findings to stakeholders.

Job Requirements: Sales and Business Development
