Overview: For thousands of years, maps have provided humans with the knowledge they need to make decisions. As a Maps Evaluator at Peroptyx, you will have the opportunity to provide ground truth for your town, city, or country. This role involves reviewing mapping data for digital mapping applications to ensure accuracy and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Verify the accuracy of business names and opening hours.
- Check the distance from starting points to end destinations.
- Validate navigation routes for accuracy and safety.
- Conduct research to improve user experiences with mapping applications.
Ideal Candidate:
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent research skills.
- Strong local knowledge of your home country.
- Good understanding of the geography and culture of Ireland.
- Analytical mindset.
Job Requirements:
- Must be living in India for a minimum of 5 consecutive years.
- Must pass an online open-book exam to verify understanding of material and concepts.
- Willing to work a minimum of 10 hours and up to 20 hours per week, depending on task availability.
- Good working knowledge of search engines, map applications, and social media platforms.
- Ability to learn, understand, and apply multiple sets of instructions.
- All work must be performed independently.
Technical Requirements:
- Access to a laptop or computer with a unique logon account.
- Up-to-date antivirus solution with regular scans performed.
- Only one member per household may apply.
