The Analytics team at PharmEasy plays a central role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. We focus on making healthcare more accessible, available, and affordable by leveraging a wide variety of datasets, tools, and techniques. As a data-first organization, the team contributes to all aspects of analytics, from data enrichment and modeling to dashboard creation, root cause analysis, and insight generation. We also build predictive and prescriptive algorithms and integrate them into products for tangible business impact.
Team members gain extensive exposure by collaborating with business owners, decision-makers, and product leaders, resulting in a well-rounded experience in problem-solving within the healthcare ecosystem. Over time, they work across various business units, contributing to the company's growth and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Business Teams to drive data-driven decision-making, ensuring effective communication across Business, Product, and Data Engineering teams.
- Understand business requirements, identify underlying business cases, and design generalized solutions.
- Extract, clean, and explore data from databases and other sources, addressing issues and missing values.
- Transform cleaned data into actionable insights and communicate findings to the relevant teams.
- Automate recurring data-related tasks to improve operational efficiency.
- Flag data sanity issues to Data Engineering and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Ensure new business requirements are thoroughly vetted and signed off.
- Share insights and knowledge with internal teams to foster continuous improvement.
What Are We Looking For?
- 1 to 2 years of work experience in a relevant field, preferably in a consumer-facing company.
- Proficiency in SQL (including complex queries).
- Strong skills in Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel for data cleaning, pivoting, and exploration.
- Experience with at least one Data Visualization Tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Microstrategy, Metabase).
- Basic automation skills using Google Sheets or Excel.
- Knowledge of R/Python for data handling is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for gathering business requirements and presenting insights.
- Curiosity and a passion for exploring data and deriving actionable insights.
